Setting up Automatic Synchronization
To set your phone to automatically synchronize at a specific interval:
- Start the ActiveSync program on your Smartphone.
- Select Tools, then Options, and then select Mobile Schedule.
- Choose how often you want your Smartphone to synchronize. We recommend synchronizing every 5 or 10 minutes during peak times.
WARNING: If you choose to synchronize When new items arrive, each time you get an e-mail or meeting request, the server sends an SMS message to notify your Smartphone. Your Smartphone then downloads the new items. Depending on your plan, your cellular provider may charge you for EACH SMS message. This can lead to large and unexpected increases in your bill.
