Alumni & Friends
Alumni & Friends is all about burnt-orange pride, with features about the latest research and Longhorns who are making a difference, a ticker of upcoming events, the latest news stories about the University, fun facts, and computer goodies such as wallpaper and e-cards.
Texas Exes
Texas Exes works to unite, inform, and involve alumni and friends in promoting and protecting The University of Texas at Austin.
Volunteer Engagement
There are many ways for corporate leaders to increase their involvement with the University--as mentors to students, as guest lecturers or speakers, through service on advisory boards, and more. UT has many advisory groups, whose members are nominated by their peers to serve the University in a variety of ways. Such groups include the University Development Board, which works with President Powers to increase private support to UT; advisory councils, which focus on the priorities of individual colleges, schools, and units; and the 1883 Council, a small group of up-and-coming alumni leaders. For more information about volunteer engagement, contact Mark W. Blount, director of Corporate Relations.
