Events & Opportunities to Present Work
There are many opportunities to present research projects. Departments, programs, and student organizations host events year-round; the university and colleges have annual events; and there are regional and national conferences hosted by external organizations. Make sure to talk to your academic advisors and faculty mentors, and search the Internet for the latest and most complete offerings.
Each spring, the College of Liberal Arts hosts an undergraduate research oral presentation symposium and a poster presentation event in conjunction with the activities of Research Week.
Research Week is a campus-wide celebration of undergraduate research and creative activity. Research Week unites existing programs, events, and activities that showcase undergraduate research and highlights the many research opportunities available to students.
The National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. NCUR welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all corners of the academic curriculum.
