*We have limited availability of level A spaces for families who need care and have household incomes below $55,000 a year. Please contact us to learn about these few spaces, and inquire about your eligibility. If your child is currently enrolled in our program and you are interested in applying for one of these spaces, please complete the reduced fee application.
Fees
- $10 application fee per family due at time of application
- $35 non-refundable enrollment fee due upon enrollment
- $45 deposit per child due upon enrollment
You will be reimbursed for the deposit by having it deducted from your child’s last month of tuition, if you give 30-days notice before your child leaves the center.
Guidelines
- There is a $25 tuition discount for each sibling enrolled at the UT Child Development Center.
- The Child Development Center maintains a limit of 32 level A tuition spaces. If more families qualify, a waiting list will be established for the lower tuition spaces and these families will pay level B tuition rates until one of the lower tuition spaces becomes available to them.
- The director and assistant director will review income documentation upon enrollment, and once every following year.
- Appeals for reduced tuition due to special circumstances go through the Office of the Vice President for Employee and Campus Services.
- Families may have their tuition category reviewed during the year upon request.
- Reduced tuition levels are reserved for non-student UT employees. (See the reduced-fee application for a list of income sources used to determine household income.)
